CalCPA is on alert for new legislation that may impact how you work or would affect your clients or employers. Our government relations team provides regular updates about issues that may need your attention.

Grassroots

Make a difference by participating in CalCPA’s Grassroots Program. These are members who recognize the difference that individuals can make in the legislative process on behalf of the profession, their clients and the public. Legislators often base decisions upon communications they receive from constituents; therefore, it is essential for CalCPA members to establish a connection with their elected representatives.

CPA-PAC

By joining CPA-PAC, you can support legislative and statewide candidates—regardless of political affiliation—who can help improve the business climate for your clients. CPA-PAC provides the means for CPAs to participate in the public policy process and voice their concerns about issues affecting the accounting profession.

CPA Day at the Capitol

CPA Day is CalCPA's annual event to kick-off its advocacy efforts for the upcoming legislative year.

Did you know during each legislative session, bills are introduced that impact you, your clients or your employer? As the business climate continues to change and with legislators that can now serve up to 12 years in office, we need to build bipartisan relationships with those who share our commitment to the CPA profession.
