Welcome to the New CalCPA website! A few things have changed so we've compiled a quick list of frequently asked questions.
You have a few options in requesting assistance with the new CalCPA website.
Certificates of Completion are accessible online 3–5 business days after your course. Go to your CPE Tracker to view courses taken and access your Certificate. You will be required to login to access this page.
You can change your membership type by sending a request to membershiptype@calcpa.org. Please include: Member ID, name, current member type, member type you wish to change to.
I am interested in becoming a CPA. How do I do this?

CalCPA offers inexpensive student and free (first year) candidate memberships to those interested in becoming a CPA. In addition to information about the CPA profession, membership offers the opportunity to meet and network with practicing CPAs. To join, go to Join for student and candidate membership.
The California Board of Accountancy is the governing agency that licenses CPAs in California. They also have information and contact numbers at www.dca.ca.gov/cba.
I was educated outside the U.S. and want to become a CPA in California. How do I do this?
Visit Foreign Education and Work Experienced to see articles and information for individuals from outside the U.S. who want to become California CPAs. The California Board of Accountancy is the governing agency that licenses CPAs in California. You may contact the CBA at www.dca.ca.gov/cba.
