About Us
The California Certified Public Accountants Education Foundation (founded in 1966) is a 501(c)(3) organization.
The Education Foundation is overseen by a 15-member Board of Trustees that meets to set policies, strategies, goals and financial parameters. Trustees are elected annually by a nominating committee. They may serve a maximum of three two-year terms. Included on the Board are CalCPA/Education Foundation CEO, current CalCPA chair and the immediate past president of the Foundation.

CalCPA member pricing on Education Foundation-produced CPE events and products.
CalCPA members who are full-time accounting educators receive complimentary admission into Education Foundation-produced courses.
CalCPA life members receive a 50 percent discount on CPE Select80 prepaid education and all Education Foundation-produced events. The discount does not apply to Coupons or CPE products.
Licensed members who are current on their membership dues are eligible to receive a FREE 4-hour webcast or self-study Ethics course from the Education Foundation.
The California Board of Accountancy works to protect the public welfare by ensuring that only qualified persons are licensed and that appropriate standards of competency and practice are established and enforced. The Education Foundation follows the CPE Guidelines of the CBA and provides courses that qualify in any required area of CPE as published by the Board.
